Roasted Chicken: 22 Meals

July 3, 2011

PhotobucketRoasted chicken is a staple in my diet. I am usually short on time so I willingly buy a whole, already roasted chicken for about $7. You can do this even cheaper if you buy a raw chicken and cook it yourself.

Either way, the folks over at Squawk Fox show that you can stretch one chicken over 22 healthy meals. 22! I care dearly about eating healthy, but I also care about saving money thanks to high rent and student loans. Usually, when you try to eat cheap you end up sacrificing nutrition (i.e. ramen noodles), so this is an amazing find!
