Good Fish Bad Fish, based in Australia, outlines how to make substitutions to your favorite fish recipes to avoid feeding on the more scarce species. Fish is one of the most plentiful animals because all you really have to do is leave them alone and let them grow and procreate, but overfishing does happen, and it’s much better to take advantage of the fist that aren’t at risk of extinction.

If you aren’t much of a fish eater, I recommend trying to replace chicken dishes with a more bland white fish. They won’t taste too fishy, and you’ll still get a lot of nutritional benefit.
